All swimmers under the age of 11 automatically receive a medal at the end of their swim, presented at poolside. For those youngsters who a little too old to qualify, but who still want to celebrate their achievement, it is possible to purchase their own medal. It’s not only youngsters though, plenty of adults want to celebrate their achievement, be this for managing to reach the end of the hour in one piece, or for the effort they’ve put in in trying to keep a lively bunch of Scouts or Guides under control!

Medal Plaque
This Plaque has the Fire Swim Logo in the centre and will hold up to six Fire Swim Medals. The picture illustrates this; however, please note medals are not included.
This would be ideal for a regular swimmer or perhaps a family who swim and want to display all their medals, whether these have been received through age qualification or purchased to celebrate the achievement of taking part in the event.
The plaque is individually made and available to order by either contacting Alison Bruce at Colchester Fire Station (see contact us page) or by ordering at the Fire Swim itself.
