Due to problems with the normal Fireswim venue in 2009 instead of the usual charity swim, a Fire Bowl took place instead and raised a respectable £8,000.
All of the donation requests received have been considered and the beneficiaries notified with funding towards their specific need being presented at Presentation Night on 25 May.

Don’t forget, if you belong to an organisation, or are an individual, who has a need that you’d like us to help with, get in touch after the 2010 Swim has taken place, and before the 31st December 2010 and we’ll consider your request. Make sure to tell us who you are and what you need, and remember, we won’t contribute towards day to day running costs.
