The 2009 Fire Swim had to be cancelled at short notice due to an unexpected delay in renovations of the usual venue, Colchester Leisure World.

Instead of the usual swim the Committee managed to arrange a replacement event - The Fire Bowl - which was held just next door at Ten Pin Bowl.  The event was a success, with many of our regular swimmers - plus some new attendees- ably taking on the challenge and with some of those still coming in Fancy Dress!
