2008 Presentation Night

Each spring we hold a special Presentation Night at which we distribute the proceeds of the preceding Fire Swim.

 

A cheque for 50% of the money raised is given to the Fire Fighters Charity whilst the remainder is divided between local Charities and worthy causes. More often than not a cheque is presented to the recipients; however, in some cases we purchase the items that they require instead.

 

This years cheques were presented by a representative of sponsors Travis Perkins - Mr. Steve Bareham.  The trophies were presented by Mark Jones, Deputy Chief Fire Officer.
